RULES

1. Keep yo' drama with yo' mama! In other words, keep the peace. If there is a problem, let the mods know rather than posting it on the ooc board. We don't need arguments on the boards. We don't anticipate there being problems, this is a great group of people.

2. Update your journals every 1-2 weeks.

3. No Godmoding. If it isn't your character, don't touch them unless you talk to the player about it.

4. No Mary Sues/Gary Stues. It takes years and years to be a great wizard, so unless your character is older than Dumbledore... you get the point. Nobody is perfect, and this includes your character.

5. If an OPEN thread stays un-responded to for more than three days, the mods will assign a character randomly to respond to the thread and that character MUST respond to it within 48 hours of receiving the notice. This brings us to the next rule:

6. Check your e-mail constantly. The mods and other players will be using it to get in contact with you if they can't reach you on AIM.

7. Keep the threads easy to read. After a certain amount of replies, they start to get pushed to the side and become links, let's avoid that by starting new replies to the original comment when things start to get scrunched up.

8. Think realistically when threading! Your character can't be in two places at the same time. Don't forget about work, characters have jobs and that has to be worked into their plans of meeting people.

9. We need our characters to keep up random replies to journal entries. Too often communities start out with lots of activity in the journals that dies off after awhile, we want this activity to stay in this community as it matures. Basically, we don't want people to be forgotten, so if you see a journal entry that hasn't been replied to, go ahead and leave your own reply whether your character is best friends with them or complete strangers.

10. We want to have a standard thread description:

Who:
When:
Where:
What:
Rating:
Status: (ie: Complete or Incomplete)

11. No one/two line replies. We're all able to write, so let's show it and keep our writing imaginative. Give the person you're threading with a good paragraph (at least 5 sentences) so that they can respond easily. On that note, we'd like to NOT see people just using their default icons in threads. We don't know about you, but that just gets boring to us.

12. If you need help getting icons for your characters, the mods will be willing to point you in the direction of some. Also, Kim has her icon journal at [info]omnia_vincit and she is willing to take requests. =]

13. If you have plot ideas for your character that would effect the game plot majorly, talk to the mods to get it ok'd first. At least one of us is on AIM everyday.

14. Most important of all, this is a member based community! We WILL listen to your concerns and ideas. This doesn't mean that all ideas will be used, but we will consider it. Our main concern is that the members are satisfied and enjoying their RP experience here in Liberalis!

15. We as mods have the right to make the decision to remove anyone from the community without warning as it is better for the game as a whole. We made this game after all and we don't want to see it squandered.

16. If you are to drop a character and remain in the game with your other characters, it is YOUR responsibility to summarize all of their threads.

17. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about the rules or anything; ask us because we don't make sense half the time...

17. HAVE FUN! Whoooo!
