Plot.

By the spring of 1999 the Trio had collected and destroyed six Horcruxes and set out to find the Dark Lord hoping to end it once and for all. During their duel Harry gained the upper hand and Voldemort, knowing he had seconds left, faked his death through the use of a time turner. Arriving in the year of 2002, he once again gathered his loyal together and restarted the war on the Wizarding world by attacking the Ministry hosted 2003 New Years Ball. Eventually destroying the Ministry headquarters itself, they reduced the establishment to half it’s might. The attacks continued, citizens began disappearing from their homes, and the Wizarding world was thrust into deadly chaos. The Ministry and the Order alike did all they could with their limitations to keep the darkness at bay, but despite their efforts the Dark Lord’s followers infiltrated what was left of the debilitated government.

With several of the Ministry Officials under the Imperius Curse it wasn’t long before Voldemort had quietly taken control. With the Minister for Magic himself under the curse, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named decreed that his greatest opposition; members of The Order of the Phoenix, be arrested immediately under the claim of assisting the Death Eaters. While attempting to arrest these individuals, two of them escaped incarceration. Sturgis Podmore and Nymphadora Tonks became the first criminal fugitives from the Ministry of Magic, thus sealing their guilt in the eyes of the Wizarding world.

Immediately following, the Ministry began taking more drastic measures in order to “protect” its citizens during this time of war. New decrees and laws were instated, limiting the freedoms of the people all under the guise of keeping them safe. Due to the heightened state of fear and uncertainty Wizards and Witches willingly accepted the changes, believing it to be necessary. The Ministry focused on flushing out “traitors”, arresting those of questionable magical bloodline and loyalties and increasing its presence among the public.

With two years having passed since Voldemort gained control of the Ministry, the year is 2006 and Sturgis and Tonks have successfully created a rebel group of ex-Ministry employees who, under the direction of the Order of the Phoenix, gather fugitives from the Ministry and bring them to established safe camps as well as doing what they can to protect or rescue anyone from the tyrannical actions of the corrupted government. The united group of The Order of the Phoenix and the Renegades have made it their mission to bring down the Dark Lord and expose his puppet Ministry for what it is.

Oblivious to the fact that Voldemort had faked his death years ago the Trio now assumes that there is a missing Horcrux, and continue to search and destroy suspected objects while assisting the efforts of The Order of the Phoenix. Not aware that the final Horcrux is Harry himself, they have yet to accomplish the final step that will ultimately lead to the demise of their enemy and the liberation of the people.
